A great organization to work with and I would give them a top 10 in all areas. Thank you so much for all you do. They helped me to rehome two dogs who were family to me but belonged to my adult son who died in May. He had requested them to be placed with Veterans if possible and you fulfilled that wish. I can never thank you enough. God bless your organization and all who help you in your service to others!

I have been with the program for over a year now and thanks to Susan and Jessi. I have my life back. Anytime that I have needed anything they have been there for me. Thank you cause without your program I wouldn't be here.

I am so thankful and bless to have this amazing organization that genuinely cares about our veterans as they go on and beyond to make sure each team(veterans and Service Dog) have this amazing connection. All of this is because Susan Hinkle learns each veterans need so that she can find him or her the perfect match. Our experience was 100% amazing. My husband and I couldn't be more please with the opportunity we've had to work with Susan and Missouri Patriot Paws (MPP) and to have SD Axel as part of our family and helping my husband re-intergrate and helping him obtain a better quality of life. Thank you so much, words can not describe enough the deep appreciation we have for this organization.

My Name is Garfield J. Pellhum and I am a U.S Army retired wounded warrior of OIF and OEF and as many of my brothers and sisters in combat: I came back home not being the same man; But thankful to God that I did come home. I’ve had many challenges in the past 5 years due to my many disabilities, Mobility is the visual one but unseen ones that are worse ones— I retired in October of 2012 out of Fort Leonard Wood and that’s when my true Journey began… I felt lost and without purpose, I’ve always work and I was active and healthy before the war happened to me. Then in November of 2015 I believe it was; I was recommended to The Missouri Patriot Paws (MPP) by a fellow veteran as I Told him my struggles being denied by other organizations to be awarded with a service dog. This is what change my life--He’s Name is Axel, a rescued Great Pyrenees puppy that was in the puppies for parole program. Axel came to be part of my Family in January 2016 and since then, my quality of life has improved greatly; Axel became my certified service dog. Due to my PTSD, TBI and Mobility problems; I struggled with getting out of the house and interacting with others because it was too dangerous for me to leave the house alone; I will often forget where was I going and it became a challenge as I found myself more and more in seclusion and depress…I was mad, I was very angry and frustrated that not even drive I could on my own--Now that Axel is my certified service dog, I am able to go more places and feel more comfortable around others without my wife or my kids being there. Axel and I have grown so much through this process in a short amount of months. I couldn’t have made it through without my family’s support and Missouri Patriot Paws (MPP) professional skills team. Given my disabilities, I have a long road ahead of me, but I am so grateful to you and your team of trainers for making my life manageable with the help of my newly trained service dog! I finally am able to leave my house without needing my wife by my side at all times. Axel makes sure that I have the right amount of space to make me feel comfortable in public, he warns me if someone is approaching behind me and He has helped me stay in the moment when I encounter flashbacks and panic attacks and he has even gently awaken me from nightmares during the night. Missouri patriot Paws (MPP) gave me a new chance at life, to get out and to do things that I would never be able to do on my own without my service dog. I would like to extend a special thanks to Susan Hinkle of Missouri Patriot paws (MPP), to Jesse Queen and her husband for the field training and her amazing training skills and for making Axel’s and I training a pleasant and positive experience. I would always leave every training session with a smile on my face. My wife Yoly and I feel blessed to have met all of you and to have you all as part of our new Journey with SD Axel.
