About Missouri Patriot Paws
Since 2013, Missouri Patriot Paws has been driven by a focused and heartfelt mission, with 14 years of experience providing PTSD service dogs for Missouri veterans and first responders. As a nonprofit service dog organization, we are dedicated to supporting the heroes who serve and protect our communities, including military veterans, law enforcement personnel, EMS personnel, dispatchers, and firefighters navigating the challenges of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Our purpose is to give back to those who have given so much for us. Our process is thorough and centered on building lasting bonds. It begins with rescuing suitable dogs from local animal shelters whenever possible, giving them a new mission. Our trainers then work closely with each hero to ensure the perfect canine match for their specific needs. Together, the individual and their new partner train with our qualified team until they become a certified service dog team. We are proud to share that the Missouri Patriot Paws team has successfully passed AKC/CGC training, further reinforcing our commitment to high standards in training and certification. As we continue to grow, we are also expanding into placing dual-trained professional therapy dogs with Missouri nonprofit organizations that support veterans and first responders, as well as in firehouses. Our ultimate goal is healing—helping heroes improve well-being, regain confidence, transition successfully, and build self-esteem for a stronger future. Contact us today.
